A private group, run by its principals.
Gate Group's principals built their careers in structured finance and the physical commodity markets before forming the two practices that now operate under the Gate Group name. The two practices remain independent of one another.

Our principals have structured credit, settled physical cargoes, and managed the supply chains that connect the two.
That separation is deliberate. Each practice is run on its own terms, by the principals responsible for it, so that neither creates exposure or obligation for the other.
How we engage
Structure comes first.
Mandate first
A signed mandate and confidentiality agreement precede any exchange of counterparty detail. No exceptions are made for timing or pressure from either side.
Enforceable terms
Engagements are documented under a single governing law, drafted so that obligations hold across the jurisdictions involved.
Non-circumvention
Introductions remain protected for a defined period after an engagement ends, regardless of whether it concluded in a transaction.
Confidentiality
Information disclosed to us is not passed on without written consent, including after the engagement has ended.
